Bio:	I'm a longtime fisherman but a virgin, carper. I'll be glad to send a picture when I have one! A little background... I live in Houston, Texas, and became aware of the sport of carp fishing when I read about some guy winning $250,000 for catching one! That grabbed my attention! I've since become a guest/member at ACS forums and have been reading the American Carper online magazine as well as all the ACS site has to offer. I'm 50, married, two teenage sons and two teenage stepdaughters. Most of my fishing in the past 25 years has been for bass, white bass, and crappie in freshwater, and speckled trout, redfish, and flounder in the bay systems around here. I'm looking forward to another challenge with, what I have thought of in the past as the "lowly" carp. My attittude about the species has changed a lot in the past few months, and I look forward to posting results for the League.
